We believe passionately that for PR to work, it must be targeted at the right audience (the clue’s in our name!). As marketers, we know you’ll agree when we say that there is little point in wasting time and money on a PR campaign, only for it to end up being seen by the wrong audience for your brand. And yet without the right PR strategy in place, that’s exactly what can end up happening.

We can’t be everything to everybody, but once we find out who we are and own that, well, that’s when we can really shine. But back to hotels – once we understand what we can (and can’t) offer, we can deepen our messaging, get surgical with our audience persona targeting, and deliver what the audience wants.

We carry out audience persona mapping to hone our messaging, tone, and create stories for the right platforms in order to reach who you need to reach. Brand look and feel

Persona mapping goes hand in hand with getting to know your brand. We like to roll up our sleeves and really get to know your business and the people that work within it. We’ll come and spend a half day with you, or whatever you can spare, and get under the skin of what your brand is about, its look and feel, and your dreams and aspirations for where you want to take it.

From there we will work up a PR plan for you, packed with original creative ideas and content angles gleaned from our knowledge of the industry and media. We can tailor these ideas to meet your budget, preferences, and the amount of time you have to dedicate to PR – it’s all about making your life easier and getting results.

We will also develop a key messages document which details how we believe your brand should be communicated, cementing the tone and pulling out words and phrases that resonate with your audience.

You may think you don’t have any ‘news’ right now, but in our experience, there is always an angle that can be teased out. Part of our job is to think like journalists and uncover the gem of a story, and then match it with the right media and audience.

If you don’t have a story or don’t know where to start, don’t worry! That’s where we come in. Our creative team loves nothing more than a good brainstorming session, and we will use our market knowledge and relationships with journalists to generate easy to implement, media-friendly ideas for you.

Once we know the idea and angle, we can get to work on deciding where the story or campaign should be placed, task our content and, if appropriate, digital team with crafting standout copy or media assets, and work up a killer pitch to pique the media’s interest. We will then use our network of industry contacts to make sure it gets in front of the right editor or influencer.
